I approach my work from a mixed-media collage sensibility, redefining and pulling elements from a myriad of sources
I pool my images from just about anywhere; instructional booklets, children’s books, old science magazines, Japanese comics and encyclopedias are examples. The vocabulary of images that intrigue me are those that have both a visual appeal and an undertone of a personal narrative.
