Artist Statement:
I am a story teller. I tell
stories about people through
images.The medium is just a
tool. It can be a pencil
sketch to a final interactive
animated installation. What
dictates the theme of my work
are the experiences brought by
any kind of stimuli. The news,
a bus ride, a walk through
town and my family. My choice
for the figurative and the
imaginary relies on the
stories this combination can
tell. And the work of art that
can be produced to tell that
story in the most adequate
medium: pencil sketches,
painting strokes, photography,
typography, and lately
animation. I've painted, drawn
and photographed all my life
and made a profession out of
it. If now I see the computer
as a tool is because I can
expand my medium and tell my
stories about people in many
different ways. There are no
boundaries to free your
imagination....
