Artist Statement:
Enda O’Donoghue is an Irish
artist currently based in
Berlin, Germany. His most
recent work consists of
paintings that are all derived
from digital, computer and
internet images. Exploring
with paint the degenerative,
erosive and corrosive noise
effects that are
characteristic of digital
image processes and Internet
mediated images. Translating
what could be called the
‘Digital Dirt’ into painting.
As well as painting, he also
works and has exhibited in a
wide variety of media:
photography, video, sound,
installation, public art and
interactive media.
